According to Anna Luke Donut Myers' Obituary:
"Anna Luke was born in Stark Co., OH. While yet a young woman she moved, with her parents, to Florence, Williams Co., OH where she was united in marriage to Jerimiah Donut in 1846. To this union was born two daughters, one having died in early life.
After the death of her former husband, she was again married to Amos Myers in the year 1852. To this union were born a son and 3 daughters, who with the husband and Mrs. Gill, from the former marriage, beside 15 grandchildren and 9 great granchildren, are left to mourn the loss of a 'faithful wife and mother'.
She has been a faithful member of the Methodist church since it's organization, 1 and 1/2 miles northwest of this place. She died at her home in Edon, OH Feb. 22, 1905 at the age of 77 years, 10 months, and 11 days. In her affliction she was uncomplaining and expressed a desire to depart and join her 'loved ones' and meet her 'Savior'.
She was surely ready to meet God in 'Peace'. The funeral, largely attended, was held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon, Feb. 24, 1905, Rev. T. J. Carey officiating. Text: Job 14:14, Internment at Edon Cemetery, Edon, Williams County, OH.
