Margaret was born in Charlotte, NC on February 1, 1919.'
She was the daughter of D.A. Bud and Lenora Jane Hagler Hargett.
She was employed by the U.S. Treasury as a finance officer until her retirement in March 1974.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Canavan, her parents, six sisters and two brothers.
Burial: Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
