Frankie Jane Sutton, 99, of Macon, died Monday, March 6, 1989, at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday, March 9, at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with the Rev.Bill Briley. Burial will be at the Friendship Cemetery.
She was born May 12, 1889, southeast of Macon, the daughter of William and Mary (Cox) Polson. On April 21, 1907 she married Raymond Brock, who preceded her in death on July 10, 1917. On Jan. 3, 1925 she married Arthur Sutton, who preceded her in death on Nov. 23 1959.
Also preceding her in death were her parents: one son, Chester Sutton; three brothers; two sisters; two son-in-laws; and one infant g.g. granddaughter.
She was baptized in a river near the Fairview Christian Church in 1900 and had been a member of the First Christian Church in 1900 and had been a member of the First Christian Church in Macon since 1920. She had been very active in the church and had sewed for the public until reaching the age of 90.
