Services for Beatrice Salazar, 68, a lifelong Grants, N.M., resident, will include a Rosary A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Alberto Avella at the church at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at the San Mateo Cemetery.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1944, to Jesus Mirabal and Elizar Molina Mirabal in Grants.

Beatrice passed away on Sept. 4, 2012, in Albuquerque, N.M.

She enjoyed going to the Cibola Senior Citizens Center, and the casino, but she will best be remembered for her love of spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family.

She is survived by her children: Debbie Jaramillo and her husband, Jackie; Joseph Salazar and his wife, Phyllis; Brenda Martinez and her husband, Henry; and Tommy Salazar her sisters: Edwina Jaramillo; Domi Jaramillo and her husband, Tony; Modesta Uranga and her husband, Arnold; and Theresa Gonzales and her husband, Bernie; six grandchildren: Angelique Molina and her husband, Nelson; Felisha Vallejos and her husband, Joey; Dominic Salazar, Kayla Martinez, Isaac Salazar and Louie Martinez; three great-grandchildren: Jackie Molina, Alisha Vallejos, and Monique Molina; two nieces: Dorothy Chavez and Jody Mirabal, along with numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Remiijio Salazar, who passed away on Feb. 8, 2000; her parents: Jesus and Elizar Mirabal; two brothers: Manuel Mirabal and Richard Mirabal, and a granddaughter, Monique Jaramillo.

Pallbearers include; Isaac Salazar, Donald Chavez Jr., Reyes Salazar, Dominic Salazar, Matthew Lopez, and Joe Ray Mirabal.

Honorary Pallbearers include; Manuel Griego, Louie Martinez, Nelson Molina, and Joey Vallejos.

Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup, N.M., is in charge of arrangements.
