"In the death of Rosalie Hull, wife of Ralph Hull and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester McRorie, which occurred at the home of her father, near the Flycreek valley, December 4, 1910, the community in which she lived loses one of its best and most loved ladies. She had been in poor health for some time, but still kept up until November 25th, when she took to her bed, and kept gradually failing until she died, and, although very feeble, she was patient and loving to the very last. She was born near Flycreek Valley, June 17, 1858, and always resided there, where she died as she lived, a patient, enduring Christian, loved, honored and trusted by all. On December 7th, one week before her death, occurred Mr. and Mrs. Hull's sixth wedding anniversary. Beside her husband, mother and father, left to mourn is one sister. The funeral, held Friday, December 16th, at her father's, was largely attended by her many friends from far and near. The services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Holder of Schuyler Lake. The floral tributes were very beautiful and attested to the high esteem in which she was held." ["The Otsego Farmer" (Cooperstown, NY), Dec. 23, 1910, p. 7]
