A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in the St. Charles community for Juanita Pitre Boudreaux, 74, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died at 11:50 a.m. Dec. 24, 2000.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She was the mother of Merton and Kenneth Pitre; and sister of Birchman Roundtree and Melba Tabor. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clay Joseph Pitre; second husband, Junius Boudreaux; parents, Philip and Yula Deshotels Roundtree; and son, Clay Joseph Pitre Jr.
