Funeral services for Ioan Apetri, 61, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Blanchard. Officiating will be Dr. James Hill. Interment will follow in Memorial Garden North Cemetery in Blanchard. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Blanchard.
Ioan was born on July 25, 1951 in Sasca Falticeni, Romania to Toader and Amalia Apetri. He passed away on September 5, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He was a resident of Blanchard, LA and attended First Baptist Church of Blanchard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Aurelia Apetri; daughters, Marinela Apetri Hill and husband, Lonnie, Ruxanda Apetri and husband, Preston Johnson; grandson, Alex Hill. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Hill, Preston Johnson, Tracy Smith, Jason Lang, Paul Hayes, Jason Hayes and James Gilliam.
