Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
Virginia Ovella White, 79, of Loretto passed away on April 1, 2009 at Crockett Hospital. She was a native of Lauderdale County, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherwood Redis White; her parents, Moses Monroe and Mary Betty (Flanagan) Hunt; her brothers, Donnie Jefferson Hunt and John Franklin Hunt; and her sisters, Eunice Mae White and Sarah Ada Haney. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Gordon of Loretto, Donna Mason of Killen, Alabama, and Jean Littrell of Lexington, Alabama; her brother, Kenneth Neal Hunt of Chesapeake, Virginia; her sister, Oletha Liverett of Rogersville, Alabama; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Alabama with Rev. John Deaton officiating. Interment followed in Nebo Cemetery with Loretto Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
