John Franklin Hunt, 74, of Rogersville died on May 2, 2001 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jimmy Peyton officiating. Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery with Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He was a native of Lauderdale County and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from NAFCO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses Monroe and Mary Betty (Flanagan) Hunt. He is survived by his wife, Edna Irma (White) Hunt; his sons, Larry Hunt of Goodsprings, Tennessee and Ronnie Hunt of Lexington; his daughters, Barbara Slaton of Rogersville and Sherrie Phillips of Athens; his brothers, Donnie Jefferson Hunt of Lexington and Kenneth Neal Hunt of Norfolk, Virginia; his sisters, Eunice Mae White and Sarah Ada Haney, both of Florence, and Oletha Liverett and Virginia Ovella White, both of Rogersville; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
