Fails To Survive Injury Received in Falling Monday

Born in 1850 in Indiana-Resident of La Salle Nine Years-Died at 3:25 P.M. Tuesday
Alexander Klepfer, about whose accident we told in these columns yesterday, died at his home 635 Fourth street where the accident occured yesterday afternoon at 3:25.
Mr. Klepfer never regained consciousness since receiving his injuries night before last.
Alexander Klepfer was born July 22, 1850, near Oaklandon, Indiana. He married in the former city, and two daughters were born to the couple while residents of Indiana. Mrs. J. Johnson, who died in LaSalle a couple years ago, and Mrs. Ralph (Cora) Wilson, who lives with her husband and son, Dewey, at her parents home on Fourth street.
The family next moved to a farm lying south of Tonica, the little town nine miles south of LaSalle where they have since resided.
Mr. Klepfer has three brothers and two sisters, all living near Indianapolis, in Indiana.
The funeral services will be held from the residence on Fourth street at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, after which the funeral will proceed by carriage to Tonica, where the interment will be made.
