Kenneth C. Smith, 75 of Glasgow, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Kenneth was a retired employee of the Glasgow Street Dept. and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of Grider Memorial Baptist Church. Born in Barren County, he was preceded in death by his mothers, Ila Estes Smith and Delcie Farlee Smith and his father Arthur Smith.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; 8 daughters, Cindy Deckard (Billy), Sandy Perdue (Lonnie), Karen Clark (Richard), Tammy Houchens (Roger), Angela Button (John), S.D. Stark all of Glasgow and Robbie Cudnik (Bill) and Kim Cox (Eldon) of Indiana; 4 sons Anthony Smith, Kenneth Smith (Selena), David Houchens (Wendy) all of Glasgow and Frankie Houchens (Paula) of Arizona; several grandchildren including special grandsons Michael Houchens and Dusty Smith; several great grandchildren; 5 sisters Shirley Crews (Gary), Mary McPeak (Gerald Hudson), Debbie Decker (Paul Wilson), Dianne Smith all of Glasgow and Ila Vay France (Fred Bohm) of Indiana; 1 brother Billy Ray Smith of Indiana and a special friend J.C. Smith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 daughters Lola Jean, Sharon and Sheila Smith; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Rossel and Verda Mayo; 1 great grandchild Katie May Smith; 6 brothers Arthur "Smitty", Rollin, Johnny, Charles Clifton and Bill Smith and Charles McPeak; 1 sister May Likens and his loving companion "Daisy".

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
