McMinnville resident and Warren County native Larry Carl Boren, 70, passed away October 4 at Centennial Medical Center after a brief illness.
A upholsterer, a member of the Church of Christ, and a U.S. Army veteran. He was the son of Clellon and Ocie Malone Boren, and born in Warren County on August 23, 1933.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Michele Boren of Chesterfield, Michigan; his daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa and Eric Winterstrom of Harrison Township, Michigan; grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle and Justin Boren, and Nichole Winterstrom; brother, Willard Boren of McMinnville, Tennessee;
sisters, Pauline Starkey and Hazel Holland, both of McMinnville, and Lillie Pegg of Tullahoma, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held today at High's Chapel with Lane Dix officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery with military graveside rites administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
