Obituary:
Mrs. Margaret Teeple died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Houghtaling, Saturday noon, Dec. 10, [1921]. Mrs. Teeple had been a resident of Clifford for several years until a few weeks ago she came to Mayville to live with her daughter. She was ill only a short time and peacefully passed away to her great reward.
Margaret Appelman was born in Canada on Aug. 11, 1835, and was married to George W. Teeple in St. Thomas, Ont., Dec. 12, 1855. Mr. Teeple having died about 36 years ago. Six children are left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother, Mrs. Edwin Wright, of Saskatchewan, Mrs. John Houghtaling, of Mayville, Geo. W. Teeple, of Wahjamega, Fred Teeple, of North Branch, Warren Teeple, of Minnesota, and Thomas Teeple, of Pontiac, also forty-four grand-children and a host of friends.
The funeral services were held in the Baptist Church at Clifford, Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 1 o'clock. Rev. Sutphen, of Kingston, officiated assisted by Rev. Fergerson pastor, of Clifford Church. Burial was made in the Burlington and North Branch cemetery.
