I have been working on the Howland family and noticed that the informant on the Texas death certificate for Lou (Howland) Preslar had listed “Geo Howland” incorrectly as her father and “no record” for her mother’s maiden name. I just created links to her real parents but wanted you to know why.

Her parents moved from Mineral, Jasper, Missouri (where Lou was born) to Williamson County, Texas, where Lou met and married James Wilson Preslar. They had the following children: Charles Huel Preslar, Jewel Preslar, Pearl Preslar, William Carroll Preslar, Vance Presslar, Windell Presslar, Hayden V Presslar, and Melvin Preslar. Lou and Wilson James Preslar lived most of their married life in Lawn, Taylor, Texas.
