Blanche Barnett, 92, of Dixon, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla Born May 19, 1920 in Miler County, a daughter of John and Emma (McMillian) Carroll

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Dixon and was owner and operator of Barnett's Department Store, Dixon

Survivors: 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Judith Barnett, Ft. Worth, Texas; Ricky and Lynn Barnett, St. Charles and Mike and Melissa Barnett, Dixon; one daughter, Sharon Sooter, Rolla; two brothers, Ralph Carroll, Cuba and Bob Carroll, Dixon; three sisters, Dorothy Curry, Crocker; Betty Cross, Dixon and Jane Rigsby, Springfield; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2012, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon. Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery. Visitation 5 – 7 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012 and 12 noon to 1 p.m. service time, Sunday, September 2, 2012 all in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, Dixon. Memorials are suggested to the Dixon Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund
