Leonard A. Piepenburg, 69, of 124 Schley St., Brillion, died early Sunday morning at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton after a long illness.
He was born May 31, 1895 in the town of Rantoul, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Piepenburg. On June 15, 1916, he was married to Miss Elvera Krueger in the Town of Rockland.
The couple farmed in Rantoul until 1947, after which they moved to Brillion where Mr. Piepenburg engaged in carpentry work. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Rantoul.
Survivors are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Evelyn) Olm, Kiel; two sons, Merlin, R. 2, Brillion and Eldor off Potter; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Alvin Kleist, Newton and a brother, Otto Piepenburg, R. 1, Brillion.
