Edward Alfred Brock, 84, of Varnamtown, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Autumn Care of Shallotte.
A graveside service was at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at the Georgetown Cemetery in Varnamtown with the Rev. Lonnie Varnum.
He is survived by a daughter, Carol Brock Walker of Supply; sisters Lizzie B. Carter of Ocean Isle Beach, Lucille B. Green of Whiteville, Ester Suggs Of Loris S.C., Geneva B. Dickerson of Chadbourn, and Bonnie Hinson of Cerro Gordo; brothers, Willard Brock ofHope Mills and Elwood Brock of Ridgeway, Va.; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
