ELWOOD BROCK
Elwood Brock, 73, of 800 Princeton Street, Martinsville, Va., died Monday, November 3, 2014, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
He was born in Fair Bluff, N.C., on September 25, 1941, to the late William Manson Brock and Mary Buffkin Brock.
He had been employed as a machine operator at American Furniture for more than 42 years, and was a member of Rich Acres Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Stump Brock of the home; two daughters, Bethany Brock of the home and Belinda Brock Collier of Martinsville; one brother; and five sisters; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Gary Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service and other times at the home.
