The Oklahoman, Wed, Jan 28, 1948: Services will be in the Garrison Funeral home at 4 pm Wednesday for Adolph Burry, 83, of 607 NW 5, who died at his home Monday. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery. A native of Switzerland, Burry came to the US in 1884. He lived in Texas until coming to OKC in 1912. He was a retired grocer. Burry was an active member of the IOOF. He had held all offices in the local lodge, and four years ago was presented with a gold emblem for completing 50 years as an Odd Fellow. He is survived by his wife, of the home.
