Sue Hafley
LeROY — Sue Hafley, 68, of LeRoy passed away at 3:50 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 26, 2012) at her residence.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy. Burial will follow in Frankeberger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Robert Hafley and family.
Sue was born May 14, 1944, in LeRoy, to James O. and Jewell Cook Ferrell. She married Robert O. Hafley on Dec. 30, 1963, in LeRoy. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Robbie "Otha" Hafley, Brian Hafley and Curtis Hafley, all of LeRoy; one daughter, Pamela (Kenny) Pride, LeRoy; brothers and sisters, the Rev. Jim (Sue) Ferrell, LeRoy; Bob (Kay) Ferrell, LeRoy; Danny (Leola) Ferrell, El Paso; John (Deb) Brown, Ohio; Ann (Jim) Malcom, LeRoy; Judy Jocelyn, LeRoy; Karen (Chuck) Wahls, LeRoy; Jim (Joyce) Ferrell, LeRoy; Vicki (Chuck) Jenkins, Minnesota; Julie Paul, Bloomington; Deb (Bill) Lower, Normal; and Keith (Maggie) Farrell, Shirley; and four grandchildren, Zach, Dylana and Dayne Hafley, and Clayton Pride.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Russell Cook; and one sister, Cindy Brown.
Sue was a member of the First Baptist Church of LeRoy. She belonged to the Moose Lodge in Bloomington and Post 6190 Ladies Auxiliary in Farmer City. Sue loved going to play Bingo with her friends at the Moose and play scratch-off lottery tickets.
She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
