MRS. MARTHA TROUTNER
Mrs. Martha Emrick Troutner, wife of Carol Troutner, of west of Ohio City, died at noon Wednesday at the Van Wert County Hospital following childbirth. The infant daughter died Tuesday night.
Besides the husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Celia Emrick of Ohio City; brother, Doyt Emrick and sister, Mrs. Earl Medaugh of Ohio City. She was born in Liberty township, and was a member of the Church of God here.
Funeral arrangements for the mother and child, in charge of Cowan & Son Funeral Home have been completed with services at the Church of God Friday at 2:00 p.m.

Martha Irene (Emerick) Troutner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Emerick, was born in Liberty Township March 29, 1911 and departed this life Dec. 15, 1943, age 32 years, 8 mo. and 16 days.
She lived her entire life in Liberty Township and attended Ohio City Liberty High School. When a young girl she was converted and became a member of the Church of God, Ohio City. She was married to Carol Troutner, April 1, 1934 at Decatur, Ind. Her father, Lewis Emerick, preceded her in death and a daughter, Connie Lee in 1938.
She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, Carol; her mother, Celia Emerick; one sister, Mrs. Earl Medaugh; one brother, Doyt Emerick, all of Ohio City and a host of relatives and friends.
