MRS. CELIA EMERICK
OHIO CITY -- Services for Mrs. Celia Emerick, 78, Ohio City, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today in the Cowan and Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, with Rev. Royal Kear officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
Mrs. Emerick died at 12 p.m. Sunday in the home of a son, Doyt Emerick of Ohio City.
Born Oct. 31, 1880, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Miller. Her husband, Lewis, died in 1932.
Surviving are a son, Doyt, with whom she made her home; a brother, Wilbur Miller of Zanesville; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Martha Troutner and Phoebe Medaugh, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Emerick was a member of Church of God, Ohio City. Except for a few years, she spent her lifetime in Liberty Township and Ohio City.
