She was the daughter of Daniel Bartlett and Maria Foster Bartlett

Lucretia and her family lived in Bennington, New Hampshire, where her first marriage was to William Traxler. She and William then moved to Richland County, Ohio, with his parents. There, they became parents of a son, Frank George Traxler, born on October 22, 1867. Shortly after the birth of Frank, the family returned to New Hampshire. This marriage ended, but it is not clear under what circumstances this happened.

She next married Franklin P Holt on the 18th of March in 1871, in a ceremony performed by Justus Fisher, Justice of the Peace. The marriage took place in Nelson, New Hampshire where she and Frank became the parents of Eva. Frank died two years later. Following his death, Lucretia then married Albert B. Bush and resided in Keene.

She was once elected as Vice Templar of Harmony Lodge, No. 61.
