Stonefield whom she married on 09/26/1948.Funeral services will be Fri., Oct. 15, for Lucille Irene Stonefield, 88, Oldham, who died Oct. 12, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare in Madison. The Rev. Conrad Krahling will officiate in Oldham Lutheran Church, and burial will be in Oldham City Cemetery.

Lucille Hannah was born Jan. 17, 1916, in rural Esmond to Chauncey D. and Emma H. (Wurl) Hannah. She attended school in Mathews Township and graduated from DeSmet High School in 1933. She worked for the Farmers Home Administration until her marriage to Richard F. Stonefield on Sept. 2, 1948. They farmed at Oldham until their retirement in 1983.

She was a member of Oldham Lutheran Church and church circle, and served as secretary of the Oldham Cemetery Association. They spent the winters in Weslaco, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of Oldham; a son, Richard (JoAnn) of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Carol Stonefield of Carson City, Nev.; a sister, Frances Nelson of Sauk Rapids, Minn.; a brother, Wayne Hannah of DeSmet; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; five sisters; and a son, Paul in 1969.

The Johnson-Henry Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
