Cynthia "Cindy" Buttz, 57, formerly of Granbury, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: A private family service will be held Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Cindy was born March 10, 1955, in Dallas to Billy Cecil and Mazelle Musser Williams. She married Richard Lloyd Buttz March 18, 1974, in Hurlbert Field, Fla. Cindy grew up in Red Oak. She worked as an RN for many years. Cindy was preceded in death by three daughters, Holly Jo, and twins, Jennifer Cinne and Melanie Lynn.
Survivors: Husband, Richard Buttz of Rio Rancho, N.M.; son, Chris Buttz of Saginaw; daughter, Melissa Buttz Edwards of Saginaw; granddaughters, Nikole and Natalie Edwards; parents, Billy and Mazelle Musser Williams of Granbury; sister, Connie Robinson and husband, Austin, of Granbury; brother, Curtis Williams of Frisco.
