Mrs. Bernice Chatman "Bo" Carter, age 64, funeral services will be on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2 pm. at Macadonia Baptist Church. With Rev. Ross Reed officiating Burial will be in Mapel Grove Cemetery. Mrs Carter will arrive at the church one Hour prior to the services. She passed away on August 21, 2012 at Sylacauga Health Care.
Bernice was a member of Macadonia Baptist Church. She retired from Shaw Food Service.
Bernice is survived by her children Bernard Chatman, Alpine, Al., Kim Chatman, Bensonville,Il., and Thomas Carter Jr., Tocoma, Wa. Grandchildren Kamry Chatman, Bernard Chatman, Jr., Keldon Chatman, Phillip Marshall, Gerson Carter, Demertia Carter, great-grandchildren, Destiny Chatman and Aveon Chatman, siblings, Peggy Booth, Ollie Chatman both of Chicago, IL., Clementine Sillmon, Jimmie Chatman both of Alpine, Al., aunts, uncles, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, oscar Chatman, Sr., and Vinnie Reynolds Chatman, husband, Thomas Carter, sr., sibling; Oscar Chatman,Jr., Felix Chatman, Bobbie Lou Chatman and Bernice Bell.
