died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Ashby, near Goss, Tuesday, after a long illness. Funeral services by Rev. W. B. Craig at the residence and burial at Pleasant [sic] Grove. Mr. Douglas was 65 years old and for many years had been a member of the Baptist Church. Peace to his ashes.
