John Anderson, 73, a native of Sweden, died early Tuesday in his home, 1221 NW 27, following an illness since Christmas with the flu, complicated by heart disease. He had been a resident of Oklahoma City since 1904, and was owner and operator of the Banner Co, dealer in asphalt and asphalt products. He was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church and was a Knight Templar in the Siloam Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Cecilia Anderson, of the home; a son, Otto V. Anderson, 3124 NW 31; a daughter, Mrs Lloyd V. Davenport, of the home address; and 3 grandchildren; two brothers, Lars Anderson, 1226 NW 26; and Mroton Anderson, who lives near Lund, Sweden.
