Anna H Davenport, 96, was born August 5, 1903 in Malmo, Sweden and passed away November 4, 1999 in St. Edward, NE. Anna came to Oklahoma City with her parents in 1904. She attended Jefferson Grade School in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City in 1921. She taught art for one year in Oklahoma City Public Schools and worked at Federal Reserve Bank in Oklahoma city for many years. She was a long time member of Wesley Methodist Church, was a past member of the choir, the Womans Society, Weslyan Sunday School Class, worked with the youth at one time, and quilted at the church. She also quilted with women of the Church of the Savior in Oklahoma City. She belonged to the Scandinavian Club of Oklahoma. Anna was a past resident of Spanish Cove in Yukon. She did volunteer work for the Red Cross and the Cancer Society. Proceded in death by parents, John and Cecelia Anderson, brothers Arthur and Otto Anderson, first husband Lloyd B Davenport formerly with Federal Reserve Bank in Oklahoma City, and husband William F. [Bill] Kamp of Kamp Bros. Grocery in Oklahoma City. Survivors include daughters, Barbara Davenport Westervelt and husband Wallace of Tulsa, Ok., Dorothy Dean Davenport Dutton and husband Thomas of Dothan, Al; stepchildren William Kamp, John Kamp, Katherine Kamp Von Tungeln, Dorothy Kamp Parrish all of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Wally Westervelt of Tulsa, Ok, Donald Westervelt of Seabrook, TX, Linda Ann Westervelt Kniatt of Corinth, TX, Terry Dutton Grigsby, Kevin Dutton of Dothan, Al, Martha Dutton Whited of St. Edward, NE; step-grandchilden [12], great grandchildren [14], step-great grandchildren [24] and [1] grat-great grandchild. Memorial gifts may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, The Church of the Savior in Oklahoma City, United Metodist-Presbyterian Church of St. Edward, NE, or favorite charity. Services will be 2 PM November 10th at Wesley United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
