Obituary: WM. H. Dean
William Harrison Dean, 61 years old died Wednesday at Pickens and funeral services were held Thursday at 2L30 p.m. at the gymnasium at Battiest.
Rev. T.T. Jacobs, Assembly of God minister of Pickens officiated. Interment was in the Battiest Cemetery under direction of Coffey Funeral home of Idabel.
Dean has resided at Pickens the past 15 years. He is survided by his wife, seven sons, Alva and Grable Dean of Whitesboro, Lester Dean, Battiest, Virgil Dean, Pine Valley; Roy and Carl Dean of Pickens and Jasper Dean. ; Two daughtrs, Mrs. Delca Gammons and Miss Rosa Dean of Pickens and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three daughters, Geneva Dean Sykes, Virgie Deam Griffin and Mable Dean Griffin.

During the 1930's William Harrison was a Justice of Peace and deputy in the north part of McCurtain Co., OK.
