WILSON
Warren Wilson was born on December 17, 1880, at Chariton, Iowa and passed away at the Chariton Manor on September 4, 1971. He was 90 years of age. His father was William Lindsey Wilson and his mother was Margaret Badger Wilson.
Mr. Wilson lived all but two years in Lucas County. During those two years he resided in Mackville and Pawnee Rock, Kans.
Warren was united in marriage to Pearl M. Hickle on August 15, 1903. To this union 11 children were born. Preceding him in death was an infant son in 1908 and his wife in 1969.
Surviving are 10 children: Mrs. Merle Thompson and Mrs. Hazel Smith of Chariton, Mrs. Keith Andrews of Russell, Lindsey of New Mexico, Walter of Latimer, Mrs. Clell Caylor of Farmington, Mrs. Russell Burgett, Dwight and Lloyd, all of Chariton, and Glenn of Russell; one brother, Les, of Garden City, Kans.; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Services were held Monday, September 6, at the Miley Funeral Home with the Rev. Duane Houston officiating. Burial was in the Chariton Cemetery.
