Mrs. Margaret D. Hall died at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 27, at her home near , of lung fever, aged 61 years. She was born in Sangamon county Jan. 25, 1830, and was the daughter of John Darneille, one of the early settlers in this county. She was married to James A. Hall Dec.16, 1852, and leaves besides her husband, five children to mourn her sudden departure. They are: Mrs. Laura Jones and Mrs. Hannah McGinnis, both residing at Loami; Joseph C. Hall, of th county clerk's office of this city, and John and James Hall, living at home.
The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock from the family residence in Loami, the Rev. T. E. Potter of Jerseyville, officiating. The remains will be interred at Sulfur Springs cemetery.
