W.R. Loman
WILLIAM R. LOMAN, son of Richard R. and Francis Loman, was born October 25, 1855, and died November 2, 1916, aged 61 years and 8 days. On April 3, 1879, he was married to Maggie Milburn, and to this union were born two daughters: Ida Mae, wife of Arthur Kingery, and Mabel Clare, yet at home.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and two daughters: Mrs. Arthur Kingery of Bergerville, Indiana and Mabel Clare, at home; son-in-law, Arthur Kingery; two sisters: Mrs. J.C. Campbell of Tipton and Mrs. Ed Thompson of Kempton. Two brothers, Franklin and George Edward and two sisters: Lilly and Ella, and his mother and father, preceded him in death.
Deceased was a true Christian man. He joined the Ball Hill M.E. Church when ten years of age and was a member of the Burlington M.E. Church when he died. He lived a life that won and held close friendship of all who knew him.
A short funeral service was held at the home Sunday morning, conducted by the Reverend J.K. Bliss of Cutler, Indiana, and at 10:30 o’clock services were held at the Ball Hill Church, With Reverend Allen of Burlington officiating. Interment was made at Ball Hill Cemetery.
