Mrs. Margaret Jeanette Barwick Godwin, 87 of Bolton died Sunday, August 19, 2012. She was born in Georgia June 24, 1925 the daughter of the late James B. Barwick and Hattie Elizabeth Perry Barwick. She was the widow of the late James Parks Godwin, Sr. and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy G. Cothren and a sister, Geneva Prevatte. She was a member of Bolton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Godwin is survived by a son, James Parks Godwin, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Whiteville; two daughters, Sandra Renee Rawls and husband, Charlie of Whiteville and Margaret Elaine Caison of Winnabow; nine grandchildren, Kristi Allen, Eric Caison, Lori Greene, Kelli Williams, Leigh Fowler, Wendi Duncan, Heidi Walker, Parks Godwin, III and Zack Godwin; great grandchildren, Jolaina Allen, Lariann Allen, Ella Caison, Jackson Caison, Wesley Clewis, Stevie Anne Greene, Michael Pridgen, Blair Ray, Sarah Williams, Clayton Grainger, Hannah Williams, Bethany Fowler, Kayla Inman, Zachary Inman, Ashley Todd, Jonathan Walker; great great grandchildren, Dawson Clewis, Jayden Pridgen, Brena Todd, Cheyenne Todd, and Gabriel Todd.

Her funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday , August 21, 2012 at Bolton Baptist Church by Rev. Sterling Sarvis. Interment will be in Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park.
