SILVICOLA, TENN.

Silvicola, Tenn., June 16. -

Mrs. F.G. Pannell, of Boozy, Va. died at the family home Tuesday night of tuberculosis after a lingering illness. She was 68 years old.

She leaves her husband, F.G. Pannell, and ten children, viz; Clinton, Thurman, Claude, and Hagan, who are in California, and Prof. E.M. Pannell, Jr., and two daughters,
Mrs. D.G. Latture and Miss Ethel.

Mrs. Pannell was a daughter of the late W.S. Cox. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

The funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. K.G. Murray, her pastor. Burial was in the Latture cemetery.

The Woman's Missionary Society of the Holly Spring and Lebanon met Thursday with Mrs. R.S. Cox, of Blountsville, R.F.D. No. 4, and a bountiful dinner was served the guests.

Wheat harvest is on. Crops of all kinds are looking very promising. A seasonable rain fell here Thursday afternoon, which was very beneficial to the growing crops.
