"Mrs. Amanda Breece Fox Dies Home Aetna Friday
Mrs. Amanda Breece Fox, 67 years of age, and wife of J. N. Fox of near Aetna, died at their home on Friday afternoon, following a week of illness involving partial paralysis of the body, a stroke having been suffered on the previous Friday.
Funeral services at the home on Saturday afternoon were conducted by the Rev. Barron Webb of Hohenwald, and burial was was at the Milan cemetery on Beaverdam.
Surviving are husband, J. N. Fox, their adult son, Claude [sic] Fox of the home; sons by a former marriage, Herman Milam of Rappertown and James Milam of Beaverdam. and more distant relatives.
Formerly Miss Amanda Breece of the Beaverdam section, member of a pioneer family, deceased was married early in life to Milan who died thirty-seven years ago. She was later married to the surviving husband, her entire life having been lived in the southern secion of this county.
Possessed of many able traits of womanhood, including devotion to house and family, the death of Mrs. Fox has brought widespread sorrow throughout her home community and wherever she was known."
