This photograph appears to be widely accepted as being that of Andrew Hoover. However, his death in 1834 presents a problem because photos of this quality were not then available. Some written evidence indicates technology was developing at the time of his death--but conflicts exist between some experts. This photo is represented to be Andrew Hoover, but this fact has apparently not been proven.
