Jacob Hoover was the son of Andrew Hoover and Margaret Pfautz. He married Elizabeth Stritzman in Randolph Co., NC. They had ten children,only two of whom remained in North Carolina.
Jacob is buried somewhere within the Tabernacle burial ground, but the exact place is not known.
