Mrs. Franzen was born in Johnsburg, Sept 19, 1881, and her marriage to Nick Franzen took place in November 1906. They lived since then on a farm about a half mile south of the village.
Survivors besides her husband are; three children, Walter, Plymouth; Ernest and Esther Elmergreen, Stockbridge; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Carl Mischo, Kiel; Mrs. Anna Mischow, Calvary; Mrs. Hensgen, Calvary, Mrs. Mary Kloeppel, Johnsburg; two brothers, Fred Diedrich, Fond du Lac; Joseph Diedrich of Johnsburg.
The funeral services were held at St. Mary’s church here Thursday at 9:20 a.m.
