Mark is laid to rest at Eternal Hills Park & Mortuary in Oceanside, CA. As you can tell from the engravings on Mark's headstone he loved surfing. Mark started surfing around the age of 12 and continued surfing up until the day before he passed away. He took a trip to the Island of Figi just to go surfing and he had a blast. On the left side of the headstone is bamboo. Mark has several different species in his yard, he loved bamboo,surfing, life, family, friends and of course his work. He had such magical hands and a keen eye with a wonderous mind for making his customers have the most exotic and beautiful landscapes. He is truely missed by all who knew him. Mark touched everyone in some way that he came in contact with . Love you brother with all my heart. Sis.

Picture of Mark in his back yard when he first planted his bamboo. Thr bamboo has since grown so much. It is so beautiful. Mark loved nature, landscaping and surfing. He is greatly missed by all that knew him. We love you brother. XOXOXOX

Here sits a bench in a beautiful park called Cannon Park, located in Carlsbad, CA. on the corner of Cannon and Tamarack facing west just across the street and down a bit from where the "paddle out" was held at Terra Mar Beach. Mark's friends all pitched in and had this bench put in the park in Mark's memory. Mark would love where this bench is located. His friends are wonderful just a he is.

Here is one species of Bamboo that Mark planted a few years back. This was his favorite bamboo and I know he's looking down and admiring how much it has grown and how awesome it looks. Mark was a great landscaper and he made his yard look like a tropical paradise.
