NOTE: S.S. death index list his death date as June 1974, but the Wisconsin death index (Ancestry) and his obituary, both list death date as 07 May 1974.

Son of John Ellis Pryor.

1st marriage was to Dorothy A. Reeves (age 15) on September 11, 1924 in Benton, Scott County, Missouri. Both were under-aged, but both fathers gave permission to the marriage. One daughter was born to this union, and this marriage seemed to be short-lived. Dorothy is living back with her parents in the 1930 census and is listed with her maiden name. His daughter, who is linked below, took her step-father's surname, and there is no mention of this daughter in his obituary, so appears there was no contact between father and daughter.

2nd marriage to Marie Verbiar on November 5, 1937 in Cook County, IL.
