Guy (Eck) Chandler, 59, East Second Street, died at 5 a.m. yesterday at the Veteran's Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Trimble County, Ky., he was a construction worker and Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three daughters: mrs. Linda Luhn, Scipio; and Mrs. Sherry Beach and Mrs. Mary Lou Luhn, both of Carrollton, Ky.; three sons; James and Michael, both of Carrollton; Larry, Gas City; four sisters: Mrs. Hazel West, Madison; Mrs. Gustie Yocum, Carrollton; and Mrs. Lizze Bayne and Mrs. Thelma McCord, both of Milton: two brothers: Redford, Madison; and Thurman, Cross Plains; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son and one sister.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Vail-Holt Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Springdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Military graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion.

MADISON-- Guy "Eck" Chandler, 59, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday at Veterans Hospital in Louisville.
He was a native of Trimble County, Ky., a construction worker and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Linda Luhn of Scipio, Mrs. Sherry Beach and Mrs. Mary Lou Luhn, both of Carrollton, Ky.; three sons, James and Michael Chandler, both of Carrollton, and Larry Chandler, of Gas City; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Vail Holt Funeral Home, with burial in Springdale Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
