Thurman Chandler, 65, route one Cross Plains, died at today at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of Trimble County and was a farmer and had worked for 40 years for Morrow Tobacco Warehouse where he was a floor manager. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors, include his wife, Mrs. Mable McGee Chandler; four daughters: Mrs. Wanda Miner, Mrs. Judy Cde and Mrs. Sharon Tumer, all of Madison; and Mrs. Jean Turner, Lexington; three sons: David and Steve, both of Cross Plains; and Keith, Lexington; four sisters: Mrs. Gusta Yocum, Carrollton; Mrs. Thelma McCord and Mrs. Lizzie Bayne, both of Milton; and Mrs. Hazel West, Madison; one brother, Redford, Madison; 18 grandchildren; and three He was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and one grandchild.
