Alice Lorene Sims was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Joe Sims of Stafford. She was born May 18, 1900 at Stafford and died at her home in Lamar, Colorado, Nov. 13, 1918, age 18 years, 6 months, and 25 days. She married Clarence Allen on Jan. 19, 19__. Survivors include one son, about a year old, Ger___, her husband and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Hammond, who along with the husband accompanied her body from Colorado to Stafford. Other survivors included her parents, brothers Earl Sims at Camp Funston, Ward Sims of Stafford, and sisters Mrs. Elma McSmith of Kaw City, Oklahoma, and Misses Myrtle and Alberta Sims of Stafford. A brother Leroy died of pneumonia two months earlier at Camp Funston.
