Charles M. Bailey
HINTON — Charles M. Bailey, 70, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, in Summers County ARH Hospital following a long illness.
Born May 9, 1935, at Hix, he was the son of the late Wilmer and Nannie Ann Gussoe Bailey.
Mr. Bailey was a former factory worker in Rochester, N.Y., and had lived in Hinton for the last several years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Bailey; a son, Charles Maxwell Bailey Jr. of Florida; a daughter, Cindy Lasler of Hornell, N.Y.; two uncles, Harold Bragg of Hinton and Howard Bragg of Crab Orchard; an aunt, Virginia Lawson of Beckley; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel, Hinton, with Pastor Ronald Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Bragg Cemetery, Hix.
Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
