Lee Lorin Haws, 76, died August 9, 2001 at home of natural causes.

He was born February 8, 1925 in Orem, Utah to Joseph Forrest and Mary Francis Bowler Haws. He was the youngest of eight children. He married Barbara Jean Duke on August 17, 1948 and they had four children. They were later divorced. She passed away November 14, 2000.

He was a veteran of World War II. He was an avid golfer, skier and had a great love for the outdoors. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all his life. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all that know him.

He is survived by his sister Lillian Haws Scott (Robert), his four children Suzanne Potter (Kelly) of Sandy, Utah, Steven Haws of Lyman, Wyoming, Randall Haws (Barbara) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Sandra Hodge (Tim) of Arvada, Colorado, 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and close friend Joan Amott. He was preceded in death by parents, four brothers, two sisters and a grandson, Chris Potter.

A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sun, August 12, 2001 at Cannon Mortuary 2460 E 7600 S and on Monday from 10:30-11 a.m. at South Cottonwood Second Ward 980 E Revere Circle (5600 S). The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Internment will be at Mountain View Memorial Estates.
