Grant Haws, 61, of Lehi, died Sunday, October 2, 1983 at Utah Valley Hospital, Provo, following an illness.
He was born June 29, 1922 in Orem to Joseph Forrest and Mary Bowler Haws.
He married Florence Marie Dansie September 21, 1949. She died June 17, 1982. He then married Beverly McIff Crabb Robinson, December 16, 1982 in the Provo Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was a retired road superintendent of Lehi City, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his wife of American Fork; two sons and five daughters, Mark Kevin Haws, Stacey Eugene Haws, Mrs. Dale (Lynda) Peterson, Mrs. William (Sherrie) Frampton, Mrs. John (Marilyn) Anderson, Connie Jean Haws, and Penny Lynn Haws; 21 grandchildren; 3 stepchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Ervin L. Haws, Barrett Haws, Lorin Haws, Ruth Jolley, and Lillian Scott.
Services will be Thursday in the Lehi 3rd-15th LDS Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
