Funeral Services Held At Dwight July 2 For Mrs. John Cidlik, 84
Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning, July 2, at /Assumption Catholic Church.
Mrs. Cidlik died at the David City Hospital Thursday, June 30, after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Cidlik was born to Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Pelan near Skull Creek in Butler county Feb. 9, 1882. She was married to John Cidlik Feb. 15, 1904, at Brainard. To this union one son, Joe, was born.
She leaves her husband, John; son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cidlik of Salem, Mo.; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Stacy Avus [sic] of Denver, Colo., Mary McCrea of Omaha, Agnes Kubat of Lincoln; and one brother, Frank Pelan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one grandson.
