Guein was born of unknown [to me] parents in Scotland.

Guein married Cornelius Carmack in Maryland [perhaps Cecil County], and had two children in Cecil/Kent County, and the balance of them in what would become Frederick County in 1748. The family plantation was near the town of Libertytown.

HISTORICAL NOTE:
Frederick County was created in 1748 from portions of Prince George County.
