Vivian Aughn Beverley, age 77 years, 9 months, 5 days , of Poolesville, Maryland, formerly of Lee County, passed away Saturday March 13, 1999 at the Wilson Health Care Center.

Born in Jonesville, Lee County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Noyce Dorton Weston, and Mary Jane (Spangler)Weston.

She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Beverley of Poolesville; one son, Clayton Chadwell of Las Vegas, Nevada; one step-son, Charles E. Beverley of Chevy Chase, Maryland; one step-daughter, Christine Shanholtzer of Bethesda, Maryland; five grandchildren; two brothers, G.M. Weston of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Billy Weston of Longview, Texas; four sisters, Dorothy Weston of Richmond, Kentucky, Ruby Nell Logan of Noblesville, Indiana, Mary Elizabeth Billups of Phoenix, Arizonia, and Wilma George of Washington Court House, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday from the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Ken Sprinkle officiating. Burial followed at the Spangler-Minor Cemetery in Jonesville.

Sturgill Funeral Home of Pennington Gap was in charge of the arrangements.
